欧美口爆视频 of Missouri President Mun Choi and Executive Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs and dean of the School of Medicine Richard J. Barohn have named W. David Arnold as the next executive director of the NextGen Precision Health initiative. As executive director, Arnold will develop and implement next steps for the initiative with a comprehensive strategy for dynamic growth and establish clear pathways for continued success in research, innovation, economic development, and cutting-edge discoveries.

欧美口爆视频 of Missouri Provost Latha Ramchand announced the appointment of Jay Sexton as the new director of the Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy, effective July 1. Sexton is currently the Rich and Nancy Kinder Chair in Constitutional Democracy and professor of history and has been at the institute since 2016.

The Mizzou Law Veterans Clinic has announced a new program to partner with medical students from the 欧美口爆视频 of Missouri School of Medicine. This partnership will involve collaboration between the two professional schools with regard to securing Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) disability compensation benefits for veterans. Since its inception, the clinic has secured more than $10 million in compensation for veterans and their families.

The 欧美口爆视频 of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine this weekend celebrated its rich 50-year history as a leader in innovative healthcare education and delivery in the urban core of Kansas City, and its future potential.

The 欧美口爆视频 of Missouri-Kansas City and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City announced a new partnership on Friday that will extend scholarship opportunities to thousands of Kansas City students.

The future of cell phones, solar panels and electric vehicles depends on materials like cobalt, germanium and rare earth elements. Those and other critical minerals are the focus of the second annual virtual workshop hosted by Missouri S&T Aug. 4-5. The workshop is part Missouri S&T鈥檚 critical-minerals workshop series funded by the National Science Foundation. It features U.S. and international experts on subjects including mineral deposits, critical mineral sustainability, public policy, and processing and recycling.

Some tornadoes can be so violent they destroy sensors intended to record wind speed and pressure on commercial buildings, schools and homes, so there is no current technology to measure their real wind speed. Researchers at Missouri S&T are bringing tornadoes into the lab with a new simulator to model extreme cyclonic wind speeds and study how tornadoes destroy structures. The findings could then be used to update existing structures and influence new construction.

Elder will serve as the next Dean for the College of Optometry, marking a historic moment for UMSL.

Since 1986, the 欧美口爆视频 of Missouri鈥檚 Bridge Program has provided a unique and comprehensive year-round precollegiate programming for St. Louis area high school students and parents.  This year, a $200,000 grant from Cigna Foundation is supporting UMSL鈥檚 work with students, providing program offerings that equip participants with competencies critical for successful for post-secondary outcomes.
